OCTOBER 31, 2024; 61 days left to 2025
Hello lovelies,
For the first time since I started this journaling journey, I actually sat down for my Python classes! No excuses, no wahala – I just went for it.
Yesterday, I mentioned that I’d try to code before bed, but abeg, that didn’t happen. Anyway, I woke up late today, and honestly, it felt good to just chill with nothing on the agenda. I got up around 11 a.m., made brunch for myself and hubby, then he went out to check on our project. After cleaning up a bit, I finally settled down to code.
I decided to start fresh with the 12-week class I paid for. I got through the whole of week one, did all the assignments and projects. It was easy sha because it felt like revision. I covered basic stuff: print and input statements, Python syntax, comments, and variables – just intro-level things.
I also did day 1 and day 2 of the “100 Days of Python” course on Udemy. It was still beginner stuff. Day 1’s project was a “Username Generator,” and day 2’s was a “Shopping Discount Calculator.”
Between the two, I actually prefer the Udemy classes to the Zoom ones. Udemy is just more engaging and easier to understand – feels like I’m learning practical things I can use. The Zoom class, on the other hand, is just too serious, like a proper classroom.
Hubby came back around 7 p.m., and I’d already made dinner, so we ate together. Honestly, I’m just happy that my day was productive without any stress.
If I were to rate my day, I’d give it an 8.5 out of 10.
